i made basic layouts for mmos on the Wii U. Maybe you could use them as a base to show what a mmo game, like swtor or guild wars 2, control layout would look like on the touchscreen (+ rest of the controller maybe..). They are in my gallery.
I hope Nintendo looks at this and makes some changes to the interface they have to match some of what you suggested for.
